ASSIGNMENT
M1 reached out to TLBB to design their e-newsletters, which is part of their employee engagement efforts.
STRATEGY
Our strategy is to hook employees from the get-go with a gripping, playful cover page and to keep their attention. We do this through attractive one-liners and by proposing content that are both fun (e.g. mini quizzes where participants stand a chance to win prizes) and useful (e.g. dedicating a section in the newsletter to introduce the new hires).
EXECUTION
We all know the rule: don’t judge a book by its cover, but let’s face it – no one abides by it. Especially not with newsletters. That is why, as our rule of thumb, we keep cover page designs visually arresting. For M1, we do this with vibrant colours.
What follows are pages of information segmented and arranged in a visually logical way, with a generous dose of graphics to break the wall of words. This improves readability and encourages readers to keep going.
RESULTS
We are honoured to be M1’s official e-newsletter design team for 4 years and counting.
