Creative Eateries
ASSIGNMENT
Creative Eateries is a food and beverage company that runs several restaurant chains serving cuisines from all over the world. We live for food here at TLBB so we were excited to be asked to design their menus, packaging and marketing collaterals.
STRATEGY
Our strategy was to tie the design for each restaurant back to the country of origin with the use of symbols or iconic artifacts. This visually transports patrons to the country and feeds some authenticity into their overall culinary experience.
EXECUTION
For this casual dining restaurant serving cuisine from the famous Thai city of Bangkok, we created a menu with a modern design peppered with witty visualisations of puns. This injects a little bit of fun into the overall dining experience.
Our designs for this Taiwanese restaurant was inspired by the country’s eclectic mix of the traditional and the modern. The feature art in the restaurant is a mural showcasing Taiwan’s modern and traditional places of interest. This theme continues through to the furniture design.
Our menu design for Fremantle Seafood Market is one that exhudes the charm of Australia’s Fremantle Harbour. It also aligns with the modern-rustic interior of the restaurant.
Crossings Café is an eatery that aims to bring strangers together over a cup of coffee. We used their brand colours to design a menu that resonates with their visual identity – simple and unpretentious. Subtle hints of yellow add a little cheer and brighten up the overall aesthetic.
RESULTS
Our designs are integral to creating an authentic dining experience in each of Creative Eateries’ restaurants. The fact that they’ve come back to us multiple times for our designs is a testament to their love for our work.
